Skin-contact forever.
Treat yourself to four premium and uniquely expressive skin-contact wines from New Zealand, Italy, and South Africa. Is this where you'll encounter your new favourite wine? There is only one way to find out.
The Orange Crush mixed case includes one bottle of each:
2022 Cambridge Road Cloudwalker (Martinborough, New Zealand)
Pinot Gris + Riesling. Just under 1/2 fermented with skins and seeds to build texture. Refreshingly pithy. Aromas of dried mango and earl grey with a touch of lemon zest. The palate balances textural weight with a dry crunch and a freshness tempered with bitters.
2020 Fidora Amphora (Veneto, Italy)
Single-vineyard Pinot Grigio from biodynamically-grown fruit. After handpicking the grapes are de-stemmed and fermented in Italian Terracotta Amphorae. Then, the Amphorae are sealed and the wine will mature with its skins macerating for around 4 months. Zero sulfites were added. Hints of dried peach and apricot, nuts, pomelo, and forest floor. Its complex bouquet will benefit from decanting.
2022 Badenhorst Riviera Orange (Swartland, South Africa)
Ripe, golden yellow Chenin Blanc blended with Grenache Blanc. Skin macerate/carbonic macerated wine. Concrete and old casks. No filtering, no fining. Grippy, quince, and warm spices.
2022 Foradori Fuoripista (Alto-Adige, Italy)
Made from 100% Pinot Grigio, Fuoripista is a bold departure from tradition, having spent 8 months macerating on its skins in clay amphorae, creating a distinctive depth and character.
