This cuvée is named in honour of Yann’s grandfather, a fellow vigneron in the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits and Beaune, who was among the pioneers of Les Dames Huguettes. Made from 100% Pinot Noir, it features a selection of the finest grapes from the renowned Les Dames Huguettes vineyard in the commune of Nuits-Saint-Georges.
The vines are organically farmed and harvested by hand. The wine undergoes natural vinification using whole bunches, followed by 24 months of barrel aging, including a portion in new oak. It is bottled without fining, filtration, or added sulphites, resulting in a pure and authentic expression of its terroir.
