The Lescure Domaine may be a relative newcomer to the winemaking scene, but it has established itself with remarkable vigour. Founded in 1975 by Chantal Lescure and her husband Xavier, the estate spans 18 hectares, with vineyards scattered across Chambolle-Musigny in the Côte de Nuits and Volnay in the Côte de Beaune. Today, their two sons manage the domaine, overseeing parcels that stretch from Dijon in the north to Meursault in the south. Committed to organic viticulture, the estate has been fully organic since 2000 and holds certification from Ecocert.

This wine is a structured, red-fruited expression from south-facing old vines. It is a rarity, sourced from one hectare of the three that form Les Bertins, a prized plot of soil located on the Volnay side of Pommard.
