2023 Taparas Carambouille

Les Vignerons d'Estezargues is one of the few exceptions to the rule of large-scale French cave co-ops, nearly all of their growers are certified organic, and the group eschews additives of any kind save for the occassional sulfur at bottling, vintage depending. Add to this the fact that the co-op emphasizes terroir over regional blending, and we're sold! In the case of Carambouille, 65% Cinsault, 32% Carignan, 3% Grenache are fermented together in stainless steel and aged for 6 months in concrete resulting in a round yet fresh and crunchy red bursting with smokey red berry fruit.
