The History
Michel-Henri and Françoise Ratte are not new to winemaking. The couple received some of their first hectares from Francoise’ parents, who had inherited them from their families and today Domaine Ratte consists of 9ha of vines in Arbois.
The Philosophy
Domaine Ratte's 9ha are certified Biodynamic by Demeter. They endeavour to bottle quite a few different cuvées each year to showcase varietal, soil types or specific sites. Their wines show incredible freshness and purity of fruit, owing in no small part to their dedication to Biodynamic agriculture and minimal intervention in the winery.
