Orsi Vigento San Vito Posca Bianco
Tart, yellow fruit flavours, chalky tannins, punchy acidity + rich mouthfeel from lees contact.
Wine Of Origin
Pignoletto is an indigenous grape to the Emilia-Romagna region with an unusually high tannin level for a white wine. This tannin becomes a lovely, fleshy texture in the finished wine. The winemaking avoids the practices of fining and filtration. Therefore, a slight haze remains. Ageing on lees gives this wine structure and a fullness to match the tannin.
The Posca Bianca is a wine designed to be served with a meal. Its body, acidity, and texture allow it to bring the best out of a very wide range of food. Taste elements that include an earthy or umami component (mushrooms, arugula, and sushi, for instance) will resonate.
