80% Cabernet, 20% Petite Sirah, grown on an undulating benchland, between upper mountains and flat valley floor. Shale or fractured rock with a crust of loamy soil. These two varietals were picked together on the same day and stomped with 20% stem add-backs and allowed to macerate for two weeks, then pressed to neutral barrels and aged sur lie for 2 years.
