Description

The vintage: After a mild winter there was a cool spring, so the bloom was slightly delayed. August was dreamlike, with warm summer weather. Cool nights ensured optimal conditions for perfect grape ripeness. The wonderful autumn weather allowed us an optimal grape selection and a relaxed reading as in years no longer over a very long reading period of almost seven weeks. The harvest was completed on October 15 and brought us wines in the cellar, which are characterized by a cool lightness, fine in style, very mineral and lighter in alcohol than in 2015. Winemaking: fermentation, aging 50% in oak barrels and 50% in oak barrels. The interplay of international and domestic varieties results in a powerful, multi-layered red wine for "easy drinking" at a high level.
